animation in a way is always collective work, since there’s a lot of people working on that, like in cinema, or other creative activities as well. mostly the goal is to achieve perfect fulfilling of the script, witch, in animation, reaches planning of every minute/second/frame.
what differs in this case - is the object. the object is to create something unpredictable and new, rather than to fulfill the plan without mistakes. mistake is the only way to progress, in that way, leaving no chance for failure.

action took place in town Zagare in Lithuania, summer 2006.
300 copies of animated cyclist were given to people asking them to draw a bicycle — the missing element. everybody rides a bicycle in Zagare.
